Pentagram & Paula Scher

There is an excellent new docu-series on Netflix called Abstract. One episode follows Paula Scher and her story regarding graphic design and typography. I already love her work, but hearing about her work from her own perspective really sealed the deal. She is an icon in the industry, and with good reason.

After watching the episode I was inspired to look at the Pentagram website and see what projects they are currently working on. HOLY INSPIRATION. If you're ever looking for a catalog of excellent creative work, browse through the projects section of the site.

The work that really stood out to me was the Planned Parenthood office interior. The design is contemporary with a lot of vintage throwback feeling and it is so colorful and powerful and inviting. I think it's an incredible aesthetic for their office and I envy the employees who are surrounded by this design every day.

Check out the site, check out the Netflix series (Episode 6) and fall into inspiration (also be amazed at how many things that Paula Scher has designed that you've come across and didn't know she made it!)
